Corn and a Concert!

Yesterday was a busy day. We went over to my Uncle Bruce's house to pick corn. He has an amazing garden. It was a lot of fun picking and shucking the corn. Yummm...I love corn on the cob! Thanks Uncle Bruce for letting us invade your garden.

Tyler was so cute! He worked on this piece of corn the whole time. What a hard worker!

Later that night, Britton and I went to the Toby Keith Concert. Britton got Toby Keith tickets from his friends at work for his birthday. Britton has wanted to see Toby Keith for forever so his friends were so nice to get him tickets. We had a lot of fun! Thanks everyone!

Last Weekend!

Last weekend my nephew Daxton turned 1! He is the cutest thing ever! My sister and brother-in-law planned an "under the sea" party for him. It was so cute and creative. They served "seafood" there...aka submarine sandwiches, goldfish crackers, and watermelon. My brother-in-law Derek made the cakes for Daxton's party.

Daxton's cake that he got to dig into!

The kids also had fun fishing for prizes and playing "under the sea" musical chairs. They also got cute gift prizes at the end of the party.

Daxton was the cutest when he got his cake. He did not know what to do with it. He put his hands on the cake and then just dove in with his mouth. He didn't know how to eat it. It was so cute!

Later that night, Britton and I went up to the South Weber Days Fair. Britton's old Young Men's Leader from Colorado lives up there now. He has some way cute kids and has started a family band. Britton used to teach his kids the drums when he lived in Colorado. So we went up to see them play at the fair. They were great! It was fun to see them again!
