So today I got in the mail my winnings from Julie's Craft It Forward. Look what I got...

Isn't it cute? I love it! Thanks so much Julie!

So....
It is now my turn to
CRAFT IT FORWARD!

Here's how it works.  The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year, a handmade gift from me! What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that if you win, you must then CRAFT IT FORWARD as well. So hurry and post a comment and then post a CRAFT it forward on your blog so the fun can continue! Remember that only the first 3 comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick!

Bowling!

Britton planned a bowling party for his chat team at work. So last night we went to Sandy Allstar Lanes. It was a lot of fun hanging out with his buddies at work. We played 2 games. The first game I bowled 105! Can you believe it? I have only bowled over 100 three times in my life. I got a 108 and 112 before and now a 105. My 2nd game wasn't all that great. I bowled a 78. Boo! Oh well. We also saw a lot of people that we knew. We ran into some people from our old ward and then we saw Julie Tucker (Jack Tucker's sister). At least Britton and I were pretty sure it was her. We haven't seen her in a long time. Well, Julie (we think) was bowling with Angie Larsen from ABC 4's Good Things Utah.
I love Good Things Utah so I was 99.9% sure that it was her. So Michelle or Jack- if you are reading this, let me know if Julie knows Angie from Good Things Utah. Then we will know for sure that it was Julie. Thanks! So Julie and Angie with some other friends were on one side of us and guess who was on the other side of us? Larry H. Miller's wife and family.

They were celebrating one of the grandchildren's 13 birthday. Britton and I wanted to go talk to her, but we didn't want to interrupt their family party. So it was a star struck filled night! Haha!

My Mom is a Star!

My mom was on Studio 5 today. The producer of Studio 5 is in my parents ward and a while back she asked my mom to be on Studio 5 to talk about being an awesome Grandma. My mom did a great job. She told me she was so nervous, but she was a natural! Go mom! Click HERE to see her and get all of her ideas!

Flower Making!

On Friday, my sister invited me over to make flower bows for little baby girls. My sister is so funny because she has 2 boys and no girls. She is always looking at little girl clothes, bows, shoes, etc. at stores and is always looking for cute projects to do. Well, my sister-in-law just had a baby girl and so we decided that now was the perfect time to make bows. Here are the pictures of the bows we made and Erin you will be getting some, including the headbands, from Linsey.

After we finished making bows. Linsey asked if I could stay a little longer to watch the boys while she cleaned a little bit of her house. Of course I said yes, because I love Braedon and Daxton. Here is a picture of them laughing at each other. Braedon is such a cute big brother. Daxton was laying down and Braedon came next to him and started saying, "Hi baby Daxton!" Daxton started laughing at Braedon. They love each other so much. It is so cute.

This is a cute picture of Daxton sleeping on my hand. I had him sitting next to me and he was playing with my fingers. All of a sudden he stopped playing with my fingers and was laying on my hand. I asked Linsey if he was sleeping and, as you can see, he was! Isn't that cute and funny?

Jazz game and good friends!

On Tuesday night Britton and I went to the Jazz game with a few friends. We sat at the very top of the ESA. I am serious...there was a wall right behind us. It was fun though. We had a great time cheering and getting into the game. The game was close the whole time, but we lost. Oh well...at least we had fun with great friends!

When we started losing we had to keep ourselves entertained somehow. So we decided to start taking weird pictures of us.

Our friends...Brenda, Tracee, Peng and Rusty

On Wednesday Britton's friend Chris, from Colorado, came to visit us. We had a great time catching up on each others lives. And of course, the guys had a great time reminiscing about the good old days!

Christmas in Denver!

This year Britton and I went to Denver to spend Christmas with his family. We left Tuesday night. Our flight was supposed to leave at 6:10, but we didn't board the plane until 10:30 that night. So we had fun talking and learning how to play sudoku while we waited at the airport. Well, we then finally made it to Britton's parents house at 1:30 and went straight to bed. We had a lot of fun with family on Christmas Eve.
We had a big Christmas Eve dinner. Here is the table all decorated. (Good job Dave for folding those napkins so nicely!)

We then sat around the Christmas tree and Britton's dad read us a picture book that had the story of Christ's birth. Then we opened our PJ's to wear Christmas Eve night.

We also had a lot of fun on Christmas Day! Here is a picture of us kids in our cute pj's!

Britton's little brother Preston got Guitar Hero: World Tour for Christmas and, of course, that is pretty much what we did the WHOLE day!

The next day we all went to see the movie "Marley and Me." I loved it! I cried like a baby and Britton said that he held back his tears. After the movie we got together with some of Britton's friends that are still in Denver to catch up and play some games. We love Linsday, Ben, and Brittany!

It was fun seeing Dave and Erin again. Erin is so cute pregnant and Britton and I are excited to have a niece soon!

Christmas Before Christmas!

Every year my siblings pick names of who to give presents to. This year, Britton and I picked Derek, Linsey, Braedon and Daxton. Since we weren't going to be here for Christmas we had them come over earlier so they could open their Christmas presents. Here they are at our house opening their presents.
