Updates!

Sorry I've been away for awhile. Our computer charger died so we had to order a new one. Finally I can check all my emails and check out all of your blogs.

Let's update you on some of the things we did in October.

Potato Pickin' - Oct. 17th
Every October we pick potatoes up at the farm in Herriman. It is a family tradition and we love it. The weather was perfect! I have picked potatoes before in snow and rain before, but luckily the weather was GREAT this time!

Daxton had fun playing in the dirt.

Tyler and Drew - cute kids!

Pumpkin Carving - Oct. 23rd
Some of Britton's co-workers were having a pumpkin carving party. We had yummy chili and breadsicks and watched Hocus Pocus. Then we carved pumpkins. Britton carved SpongeBob (he has always loved him) and I carved the words "Trick or Treat." My pumpkin took forever to carve so I actually didn't finish it that night. Here are the beautiful and crazy pumpkins we carved that night.

Britton and I had to be festive for our pumpkin carving experience. So he wore his jack-0-lantern shirt and I wore my pumpkin pajama pants. I think that helped us with our carving!

School Halloween Day - Oct. 30th
Today was our Halloween Parade and class party at school. Here is my great 3rd grade team!

New Haircut!

I have been growing out my hair since 9th grade. I have become really attached to long hair, but recently I have found myself thinking how nice it would be to have short hair. So after much contemplation, I decided to get my haircut. My cute friend Amberly cut my hair. She is amazing. She gave me lots of tips of how to style short hair because it has been forever since I had it. I really like it. Britton says it makes me look more mature. Now only if it made me act more mature! :) Thanks again Amberly!
